How Can I Magnify God With My Life?

God and Christ deserve our everything don’t they?  But what does that look like?  Do we give up all of our clothes, furniture, and food and move to the mountains?  This is an important question for Kingdom Christians to ask as we live for the LORD while still in this evil age.

I John 2:15-17 – “Do not love the world nor the things in the world If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.”

Some thoughts from John Piper.  This is a short clip.

John Piper

How can I magnify God with my life?

He offers some thoughts on what should not be our treasure.  Are we willing to honestly evaluate the place of these things in our life? Thoughts?
